Lucky Romance is romantic comedy drama. Shim Bo-nui (Hwang Jung-eum) believes in fortune telling. She is told that she is unlucky girl. She works many part time jobs because her sister has been in coma for 2 years. Fortune teller told her that she has to sleep with a born who was born in year of the tiger year in order to save her sister's life. Bo-nui meets Je Soo-ho (Ryu Jun-yol) who is genius and CEO of game developer company. Soo-ho was born in 1986 (year of the tiger). He does not believe about fortune telling or supernatural.

Hwang Jung-Eum is talent actress. Her drama always got the high rating. I like her acting but her character in this drama is same as She was Pretty and Kill Me, Heal Me. I like her name in Lucky Romance "Shim Bo-nui" sound is similar to Symphony. I don't understand why she always has short hair especially in this drama her hair is too short. She is talent game designer and always wears weird dress.
Ryu Jun-yeol became famous from Reply 1988 but I have not watched his series before. He is charming person and his acting is great, looks natural. Chemistry between Jung-eum and Jun-yeol is great. After I watched this series, I look forward to watching the new series of Jun-yeol. I like his character in this series more than character of Bo-nui.
The plot of story is interesting. Zeze Factory where Soo-ho is CEO launched game "IF" which is tennis virtual reality game. Bo-nui is game designer of "IF". After this drama was end, later Pokemon Go! was released in real life so I think of Lucky Romance immediately.
Character of Jung-eum is exactly the same as her previous drama (nothing new). First time I saw Soo-ho's office, I was surprise because it looks similar to the office in "She was Pretty" which Jung-eum also got the lead role. This drama gives a lesson to whom always believe in fortune-telling. You may rely in fortune teller when you face the problem but do not believe in everything because some predictions did happen but some did not. In the drama Bo-nui believes in fortune-telling since her sister got into the car accident. She thinks that she brings bad luck to people around her. At the end of the story, the drama shows that prediction of fortune-telling is not always true.
