Guardian: The Lonely and Great God (Goblin) - K-Drama Review

In the past, Kim Shin was killed by the king. He becomes Goblin who has immortal life. Currently, he is 939 years old. He wants to stop immortal life so he must search for a human bride and tell her to take the sword out from his chest. Ji Eun-tak (Kim Go-eun) is a high school student and can see the ghosts. The spirits tell her that she is Goblin's bride. In fact, Eun-tak were not be born if Kim Shin did not save her mother's life so Grim Reaper (Lee Dong-wook) tries to find Eun-tak. Sunny (Yoo In-na) is owner of chicken wing shop where Eun-tak works part time. One day, Grim Reaper meets Sunny. Sunny tries to approach Grim Reaper and finally falls in love with him.

Goblin is an unpredictable drama. Many people said that this drama is perfect and the casting is great. I agree that the casting is great especially the first lead and second lead roles. The storyline is good but not perfect. Someone thinks that Eun-tak is annoying because she is talkative but I think she is still a student so her character is not an adult and has a bright characteristic. The first half of this drama is ok but some parts are boring. The second half is awesome. The sceneries are beautiful. Some scenes were filmed in Canada. CG and chemistry among actors and actress are cool. It is not only romance and fantasy drama but also comedy. I learn a lot lessons from this drama. It is not easy to meet someone you love and can spend life together. Kim shin and Eun-tak, Grim Reaper and Sunny pass many obstacles together. 

If you are hesitating whether watch this drama or not, I recommend to watch it. Some parts may be boring but please be patient. After the first half, the drama is more interesting.
