Kang Han-Gyul (Lee Hyun-Woo) is a genius music composer for Crude Play. Yoon So-Rim (Joy Red Velvet) who is a high school student, meets Han-Gyul and falls in love with him. So-Rim has beautiful voice. She is enter to music industry and forms a Mush & Co band with her 2 friends.

The Liar and His Lover is based on Japanese manga "Kanojo wa Uso o Aishisugiteru".
The storyline is nothing specualr and not complicated. I watched this drama because of Hyun-woo. I like the soundtracks and Joy's voice. Joy sings many songs in this drama. Her acting is good even it is her first drama. Some scenes in this drama are boring but I like the characteristic of some characters. You can also see what is behind the music industry. If you are not famous not a singer or actor / actress, people around you may not interested in you but one day you become a superstar, people would like to come to you and want to get something from you. You may not know if they are sincere to you.
