The Best Hit - Korean Drama Review

In 1993, Yoo Hyun-Jae (Yoon Shi-Yoon) is a member of popular idol group Jay2. He has talent, can sings, dance, write the songs. Lee Gwang-Jae (Cha Tae-Hyun) is Hyun-Jae’s manager. Hyun-Jae disappears and later he is presumed dead because his car is found near a lake. One day, Hyun-Jae slides down the stairs and time travel to year 2017. He meets Choi Woo-Seung, Lee Ji-Hoon, MC Drill. He lives with them on rooftop room. Hyun-Jae finds that Gwang-Jae has a son who is Ji-Hoon. In fact, Ji-Hoon isn't his biological son.

Network: KBS2
Episodes: 32 (35 minutes each / 2 episodes per day)
Release Date: June 2 - July 22, 2017
My Rating: 7.5/10

The Best Hit is related to time travel which has similar story line with other dramas. You can hear the word "Dabong" many times from Hyun-Jae. It means thumb up but it is old word. The first half of this drama is nothing special. The reason is unclear why Hyun-Jae must travel through time so I skip some scenes and think to stop watching it but the second half is more interesting and funny. Many scenes make me laugh. The story is not reasonable but if you watch for entertainment, it's ok.

Yoon Shi-Yoon is a talent actor. He can sing, dance, has good acting. Although he is older than Se-Young and Min-Jae or younger than Tae-Hyun, he can act like has same age with them. He has good chemistry with Se-Young. I also like Se-Young's acting, very natural.
