Park Jung-Woo (Ji Sung) is a prosecutor at Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office. He has temporary amnesia and finds himself as murderer of his daughter and wife, then is in a jail. He tries to recall his memory back and prove his innocence.

Defendant got high rating when the drama was on air. I like this drama so much. Not only acting of actors and actress is good but also the story. Every episodes are breath taking. Ji Sung got an outstanding role after the drama "Kill Me, Heal Me". He can express the various feelings very well. Uhm Ki-Joon as Cha Min-Ho and Cha Sun-ho is completely shows the different two characters. People in prison are good supporter of this drama. The drama is relaxing when have their scenes. Seo Eun-Hye (Kwon Yuri) is the female lead role but is not outstanding role, just the supporting character. If you like the thriller drama, highly recommended.
