My Sassy Girl 2017 is TV drama based on 2001 Korean movie "My Sassy Girl". The drama is set in the Joseon Dynasty period. It is love story between Gyun-Woo (Joo Won) and Princess Hyemyung (Oh Yeon-Seo). Gyun Woo is a scholar and teachs the crown prince. First time he meets Princess Hyemyung when they get drunk. Later he falls in love with her.

My Sassy Girl 2017 is based on 2001 movie which is popular and success so many people wait for this drama. Joo Won wants many people to watch it. He is success from his drama "Yong Pal". In fact, the female lead role should be from online public audtion but was replace with Oh Yeon-Seo. I like her previous works; Shine or Go Crazy, Please Come Back, Mister! The first 2-3 episodes are interesting. This drama seems politic drama more than romantic and comedy. The acting between actors and actresses is not bad but is the story. Kang Joon-Young (Lee Jung-Shin) role should be more outstanding. Jung Da-Yeon and Gyun-Hee is very annoying.
