My Mister / My Ahjussi - Korean Drama Review

He is married to Yoon-Hee who is lawyer but later she has an affair with Dong-Hoon's junior friend. He is also senior executive at the same work place. Yoon-Hee wants to divorce. The oldest brother, Sang-Hoon (Park Ho-San) and the youngest brother Gi-Hoon (Song Sae-Byeok) are unemployed so they run their own business cleaning company.

Lee Ji-An (IU) lives with her grandmother (deaf and unable to move by herself). Ji-An works as contract employee at the same company with Park Dong-Hoon. She has big debt so she also works part time job. She is often harassed by loaner. She always works quietly and not talk to her colleagues. One day, she see Dong-Hoon receive 50 million won so she tries to steal it to pay off the debt and she knows that Dong-Hoon's wife has affair with whom.

Network: tvN
Episodes: 16
Release Date: March 21 - May 17, 2018
My Rating: 8/10

This drama has unique or different plot from other drama. When I started watching the 2 episodes, I thought that the story was slow moving. If you don't like this kind of drama, you may stop watching it but after 2 episodes I think character of Ji-An is interesting and that's why I keep watching it until the end. The story derives from the real life.

IU improves her acting skill a lot and she did well. If you expect the romantic scenes or kiss scenes, don't have. The drama focuses on working life and Ji-An's life. She has difficulty and must struggle because she lives with her grandmother and has debt. She can do everything to payoff the debt although it is illegal. Her surrounding people judge her only the outside appear so no one want to approach her except Dong-Hoon.

Park Dong-Hoon is really good people (not act as good people). He tries to support and help Ji-An as much as he can so we can see the personality change (in positive way) of Dong-Hoon and Ji-An. They don't need to say how much they care for each other but they do it in stead of speaking. I think it's one kind of romantic and expect they would be happy and smile for one day. I also happy with the ending of this drama. We can see both of them smile.
