Bong Sang-Pil (Lee Joon-Gi) lived with his mother when we was young. His mother worked as lawyer. One day, she was killed. Bong Sang-Pil escaped and lived with Choi Dae-woong (his uncle). 18 years later, Bong Sang-Pil works as a lawyer and come back to Gisung for taking revenge for his mother's death. He holds a secret about his mother dead.
Ha Jae-Yi (Seo Ye-Ji) is a lawyer and her law license suspended so she comes back to Gisung. She lives with her father. Cha Moon-Sook (Lee Hye-young ) is senior judge who is highly respected and Jae-Yi also respects her like mom.
Bong Sang-Pil invites Ha Jae-Yi to work with him while her license suspended. Jae-Yi's mother saved Bong Sang-Pil's life when he was young so he tries to protect Jae-Yi. Jae-Yi's mother disappeared on the same day with Sang Pil's mother dead.

I like the first half of this drama. The story is interesting from the first episode. The plot is related to the law but is not boring and easy to understand. The second half is ok but not exciting like the first half. Lee Joon-Gi is good at action and romantic scenes, very professional. The relationship between Sang-Pil and Jae-Yi starts quickly even they don't say love or ask for a date.
Jae-Yi is strong and smart woman. She can help Sang-Pil a lot so you won't feel annoy about the female lead. Ye-Ji has good chemistry with Joon-Gi.
People in Lawless Law Firm are interesting. They make this drama enjoyable.
Ahn Oh-joo (Choi Min-soo) and Cha Moon-sook (Lee Hye-young) are the bad guys. Their acting are awesome. They can make us believe that they are bad guys.
If you like the legal drama, Lawless Lawyer may be one of your favorite drama. In my opinion, I still like only the first half and not stuck in this drama.
