Nam Shin (Seo Kang-Joon) is a son from wealth family. His mother, Oh Laura who is scientist. After Nam Shin's father passed away, his grandfather Nam Gun-Ho takes only Nam Shin to his house. He separates Oh Laura and Nam Shin. Oh Laura creates an android named Nam Shin III which looks like her son Nam Shin and stay together at Czech Republic. Later, Nam Shin goes to Czech Republic and has an accident. Ji Young-Hoon who is Nam Shin's secretary and friend asks Nam Shin III go to South Korea and pretends to be Nam Shin. He has Kang So-Bong (Kong Seung-Yeon) as his bodyguard.

When I see the story line, I think of "I'm not a robot" drama. I'm not a robot uses human to replace robot but Are You Human? uses robot to replace human.
First of all, the actors and actresses perform well especially Seo Kang-Joon. This role is interesting. He can act as both robot and human well. So-Bong in the first few episodes is annoying but after that it's ok. I'm also annoyed with the characteristic of Oh Laura. She creates android because she misses her son but once she meets Nam Shin after 20 years, she does not care much about Nam Shin III.
Are You Human? is great drama. It is one of my favourite drama of this year. The writer can present the detail of the relationship development between human and robot and makes me believe in their love. Robot can do anything over expectation. Although, robot does not have feeling and he does what the program has been set, in fact he also has heart. He can learn the lesson from the real life of human. You can smile and impress with love and innocent of robot. This drama is not too serious drama, you can enjoy the romantic and comedy scenes. The last episode seems to rush and unclear in some issue but I satisfy with the ending. I will not spoil Nam Shin and Nam Shin III will end up with whom.
