My ID Is Gangnam Beauty is based on the webtoon. Kang Mi-Rae (Lim Soo-Hyang) studied in school, she was teased and think that she is ugly. She decied to have plastic surgery before attending university. She becomes beautiful and people call her Gangnam Beauty. Do Kyung-Seok (Cha Eun-Woo) studied in the same school with Mi-Rae and also attends the same university.
Hyun Soo-A (Jo Woo-Ri) is beautiful and the popular girl in the chemistry department. That's why men in the same and other departments approach her. She looks innocent but she tries to throw herself at other people. She call Mi-Rae as her friend but actually Soo-A dislike Mi-Rae because Mi-Rae has plastic surgery and becomes beautiful.

I don't know the main leads but this drama is really good (both the plot and acting) even I have not read the webtoon before. The story presents the effect of plastic surgery. Many people disagree with the plastic surgery but it is necessary for someone. Meanwhile, many people decide to have plastic surgery because they expect that they will become beautiful.
Mi-Rae hopes that she can start her new life in university. Although Mi-Rae has surgery, she is still not self-confident. She fears that she will meet her school friends and tease her again. After her friends know that she has plastic surgery, many people gossip.
Do Kyung-Seok looks cold but is really romantic man. He dares to refuse and tell the truth what he does not like to other women.
I like the way to tell pros and cons of surgery. This drama can encourage and teach lesson for people who is going to have plastic surgery. Plastic surgery is not everything but someone needs. Some people has natural beauty but not for the heart while someone is normal (not ugly) but is good people and kind.
