Cha Yu-Ri (Kim Tae-Hee) married with Jo Kang-Hwa (Lee Kyu-Hyung). She died because of accident. At that time, she was pregnant. Cha Yu-Ri asked her doctor to rescue her daughter (Seo-Woo) instead of herself. Them she died and become a ghost. Jo Kang-Hwa works as a chest surgeon. He was sad and felt guilty that could not save her wife.
Five years later, Cha Yu-Ri reincarnates and becomes alive for 49 days but Jo Kang-Hwa is remarried with Oh Min-Jung. Jo Kang-Hwa is surprise after accidentally meets Cha Yu-Ri. She wants to approach Seo-Woo so she works at Kindergarten school where Seo-Woo studies.

It's been a long time for Kim Tae-Hee after Yong Pal drama series. Her character of Hi Bye, Mama is quite different from Yong Pal. Cha Yu-Ri is bright, responsible, honest, sacrifice and sincere. I started watching this drama first time for 2 episodes and stuck. This is very good family drama series and casting are great. The drama reminds you the relationship and love of family and friend. I can feel happy and sad together, like I am a part of Cha Yu-Ri's family.
Becoming alive again, has pros and cons. Pro is doing everything which has not been done yet when you are alive. Cha Yu-Ri can meet Seo-Woo, hug her, play with her and etc., meet her parents, husband and friends again. Con is the situation is changed. Jo Kang-Hwa become Cha Yu-Ri's ex-husband as he is remarried. Oh Min-Jung (Jo Kang-Hwa's wife) is also a good person. She is kind and loves Seo-Woo. Cha Yu-Ri feels awkward when you encounter to Jo Kang-Hwa and Oh Min-Jung.
Highly recommended for Hi Bye, Mama! drama series. It makes you happy, heartwarming and crying a lot. "Family" this word includes the human's and ghost's. Both Cha Yu-Ri and Oh Min-Jung are good people so do not worry about rivalry. The reason why Cha Yu-Ri becomes alive again, will be revealed on last episode. I agree with Cha Yu-Ri's decision. The ending is satisfied me and impressive.
