Release Date: December 1, 2018 - January 20, 2019
My Rating: 9/10
The writer of Memories of the Alhambra is the same as "W", "Nine: 9 Times Time Travel", "Queen In-Hyun's Man" so I have high expectation. The plot is interesting. The casting, CG, and location are great. The chemistry between Hyun Bin and Park Shin-hye is good.
Many episodes were film in Spain and we can see the beautiful scenery. The story reminds me 2 things. First, SAO (Sword Art Online) is an anime about VR (Virtual Reality). The concept is similar. Second is W drama, Kim Eui-Sung who is Oh Sung-Moo from W, also cast in this drama. CG and narration are similar but W has better ending.
Memories of the Alhambra has some technique vocabularies (game / IT) but the drama also explains the meaning clearly. If you are a gamer, you may have some feeling involving in this AR game.
This drama is one of best drama in early of year 2019. There are some romantic scenes but not much. Overall, I like this drama even many people complaint about the ending, especially the last 2 episodes. People expect the lead male and female will hug, stand beside or has some romantic scenes. In my opinion, the ending is not too bad but just open-ended.
