Lee-Yul (Do Kyung-Soo) is crown prince, met Yoon Yi-Seo (Nam Ji-Hyun) when he was young. One day, Kim Cha-Eon (the vice-premier) went to Yi-Seo's house. Yi-Seo's father told Yi-Seo and her brother to runaway. That night, Yi-Seo's father was murdered. Then, Yi-Seo was separated from his brother. Lee-Yul believed that Yi-Seo was killed.
On the way to a rain ritual, Lee-Yul and his follower are assassinated. He runs and knocks his head and lost his memory.
Later, Hong Shim (previous name Yi-Seo) has been adopted by a man. She calls him "Father". He finds Lee-Yul is injured so nurses him. On that time before Lee-Yul is assassinated, he orders the marriage of all singles to avoid his marriage to crown princess. Hong-Shim refuses to marry with nobleman so she is punished. Her father takes this opportunity and lies to other people that Lee-Yul names Won-Deuk and is Yi-Seo's fiancée.

The story is not complicated but it's good drama. When I saw it's Sageuk (Korean historical period drama), I think the story would be heavy historical and might be stress. On the contrary, it's not like that. After the first 2-3 episodes, there are some comedy scenes which make me enjoyable and relax. The first 2-3 episodes, the characteristic of Won-Deuk is annoying because he used to live in the palace but when he stays with Hong-Shim, his life becomes tough even he loses his memory.
The chemistry between male and female lead is great. When I saw the characteristic and Do Kyung-Soo, this reminded me Kim Soo-Hyun in The Moon Embracing The Sun.
The character of Hong-Shim is also interesting. She is smart and Nam Ji-Hyun is really match with the character of Hong-Shim. Hong-Shim's friends and supporting actors/actress make this drama more enjoy and interesting.
I recommend this drama if you like the Sageuk and comedy plot. The ending is also good and impressive.
